Merry Christmas

It's the MOST wonderful time of the year... Candy Canes, decorations, misletoe, food and most importantly FAMILY. This week on the blog, I am doing a 12 days of Christmas countdown with some of my "Favorite Things".

Today I will be featuring Lawn Fawn, Cozy Christmas die and stamp set. This set is too much fun and this card was very easy to make.

So here is the finished product! The Copics that I used for for the coloring was:
R29
G05
YR04
E35
Y00
Y08
The rest of the card are the dies to this super cute set! Oh, and Wink of Stella (of course)

The inside reads, " A Merry Christmas"

An Ode to My Dad, Carlos Moreno

It has been quite a while since I have blogged. As some may know I lost my dad to cancer a few months back and it has taken me quite some time to adjust. So this would be my first Father's Day without him and I have been feeling the creative mojo kick in. I have made a few quick cards for Father's Day in honor of my dad, Carlos. So without any further adieu here are my projects.

Using some of my absolute favorite dies from Jaded Blossom and My Favorite Things I have made these cards for the "man" in your life.

Here we have Jaded Blossom Love Mustaches Stamp and Die Set. For the square frames we have MFT-603 Stitched Rectangle Frame. So here you are! The card is a basic 5x7 that has been matted with cork card stock, white card stock and then patterned card stock. So simple, so easy and super versatile....

Love You to Pieces

Love You to Pieces!

I have finally received my MCT haul and I must tell you that I have not been happier. This by far has been one of my favorite release by far hands down. Getting a view of all the "sneaky" peeks, I ordered and I am not disappointed. To say that about this line is hard since I LOVE everything, but this is indefinitely one of my favorites, thus far! I saw the cuteness and dove right in! To make this simple, cute and easy card I used the following MCT products:

MCT- D91 Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More
MCT-195   The Last Piece to Our Family
MCT- D98 Stitched Puzzle Piece Dies

I literally used the scraps of black, white and red paper to make this pretty card. And to add the sparkle, I used both Wink of Stella black and clear glitter pens, added some sequins and VOILA! Cute, simple and easy!

I tried to zoom in a bit just so you can the gorgeous sparkle that these Wink of Stella pens truly are. Gives the perfect little "something" to this beautiful card.

There's so much variation that you could do with this card that I wll be posting the rest of this week.

Enjoy

Love Is In The Air!!!

Aaaahhhh...  The holiday madness is over and some normalcy comes back into my life! Ok so for starters... Let's check out the MASSIVE Jaded Blossom HAAAAUUUL...  Say it with me! OOOHHHHH HOW PRETTY- Lol! Lots of dies and coordinating sets- as usual never disappointing. I decided to make a simple tri-fold using all Jaded Blossom goodies. Without further adieu, let's get started!

Products Used from Jaded Blossom
Valentine Dies (not pictured here)
Valentine Signs "Be My Valentine", "XOXO"

Peachy Keen "Sweet on You Face Assortment" PK-1357

Stampin Up Real Red Stamping Pad

Wink of Stella

What's so great about the super simple card is just how versatile it really is! You can do literally about anything with this card and make for any occasion! Take your regular cardstock 8.5 in x 11in 21.5 cm and cut that along the middle (width wise). Here I used Recollections Punchy Florals as the base. using white cardstock I cut out panels leaving roughly 1cm around the edges. I scored at the 4 1/8 and 8 3/8 to give the card the "tri fold look."  At this point your imagination should soar. I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots to emboss and the rest is history!!! Wink of Stella on the two little red hearts and you are all done. To add a little more "umph"to this card, I added an "XOXO" stamp also found in this new release, Valentine Signs.

Card is super simple, quick, and FUN!!
